There are 3 important dates for License Renewal in Alabama for 2020:
*Renewal is completed online, please visit the AREC Website.
*Renewal deadline without penalty is August 31, 2020.
*Renewal deadline so license does not expire is midnight on September 30, 2020.
*CE 15 hours credit deadline is December 31, 2020.

Although NAR changed to a 3-year cycle, BAR did not adapt this change. Therefore, all BAR members must complete NAR’s Code of Ethics class on or before December 31, 2020. BAR only accepts completion of a Code of Ethics class offered by the BAR as follows:
*Live classroom with BAR.
*Online through NAR for FREE. Click here.
*Online through BAR’s education partners: The CE Shop or The Career Academy of Real Estate.

*There are no refunds or transfers to another class for no-shows. You must arrive on time! Anyone arriving after the classroom door closes will not be granted CE credit.

LIVE Post License Course

Registration for the Post License class can only be done via the online form (Click HERE). Payment of $199 for the Post License class must be paid through your BAR (Birmingham Association of REALTORS®) member portal. Non-members may also register with this form. A contact record will be created for non-members. Payment must be made prior to the first day of the class. Visit www.birminghamrealtors.com and log in to the member portal or contact BAR to make a payment at 205-871-1911. Registration for the Post License class is not completed until payment is made. Click HERE for portal instructions.Once registered for the Post License class, it must be completed during the scheduled time frame for that particular Post License class.
