Congratulations are in order for 2017 Birmingham Association of REALTORS® President Faith Harper and for Ginny Willis,
ABR, GRI, CRB, e-Pro, Green, SFR and former BAR president. Both were chosen to serve as 2018 National Entitlement Directors and will serve on the National
Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors.
Votes were cast by members of the Alabama Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors in a Nov. 7-8 special election. Due to membership growth, Alabama REALTORS® gained two more NAR Entitlement Director positions this year. Harper and Willis will serve in 2018 alongside Dick Chittam, Sid Pugh, Stacey Sanders, Julie Minto, as well as fellow BAR members Chip Watts, Henry Ray and Keith Kelley.
"Faith and Ginny have served as presidents of their local association, have given their lives to this profession and will work hard in the best interests of the state and national associations," said BAR CEO Cliff Long. "We couldn't be prouder of these remarkable leaders."
Harper, ABR, CRS and GRI, is an RPAC Major Investor and has been a licensed REALTOR® in Alabama for more than 17 years. She is actively involved as a REALTOR® member on the local, state and national levels. The former Gardendale City Councilwoman (District 4) is an agent with Realty South.
Willis, associate broker/assistant manager at Brik Realty, is the Alabama REALTORS® recipient of the 2017 Harriett M. Isaacson Excellence in Education Award and 2014 Robert Jemison Award. Also in 2014, Willis was named BAR's and the state's REALTOR® of the Year. The 2013 BAR president has enjoyed more than three decades of working in real estate — from sales and education to mentoring and work as an associate broker.
