Meetings give members of the Birmingham Association of REALTORS® a voice. Attend meetings, participate in discussions and vote on crucial association business. Several BAR Meetings are open to all. The Board of Directors meets every 3rd Wednesday at 9:00am. The government affairs forum is open to any member who wishes to attend. This meeting is held the 1st Wednesday of every month at noon. In addition the Global Alliance and YPN offer multiple socials throughout the year. Our PR Committee hosts multiple gatherings to conduct community service and all members are invited to attend.
Leadership Meetings: The BAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors meet monthly to discuss and transact vital fiscal, governance and other business.
Membership Meetings: Each year the membership gathers for lunch meetings. Bylaws require at least one annual membership meeting in August or September. The membership may consider amendments to bylaws at a membership meeting.
Committee Meetings: The association has several standing committees (approved by the Board of Directors) and special temporary committees (approved by the Executive Committee and Board of Directors) that fulfill necessary purposes. They meet as often as needed, though most meet monthly.
